Finally, Honda will come with new Green technology means honda comes with the electric segment. Recently Honda unveiled its first all-electric two-wheeler, the EM1, at the ongoing 2022 EICMA. The new Honda EM1 electric moped is said to be the first of 10 electrified models planned by Honda by 2025.

Honda hasn't unveiled any technical specs of the EM1 electric scooter, apart from the fact that it will get a removable battery, or as the company calls it - "Honda Mobile Power Pack", and that it will provide a range of around 40 km on a single charge. Considering the range, the Honda EM1 electric moped could also have a low top speed of under 45 km/h to classify as an L1e-B moped in Europe, where it will be sold.

The scooter’s boxy and angular form lines give it a far simpler appearance than the contemporary, robotic-looking electric scooters. With a big footboard, an obviously spacious seat, and a rear carrier, it appears that function is more important than aesthetics.

The Honda EM1 electric scooter is claimed to deliver a range of 40km with a single charge. Additionally, the battery pack is detachable, giving the user the ease of charging it at home. It has a maximum speed cap of 50kmph. This means that the vehicle is developed to cover the short distance with swappable battery technology. 

According to Honda, this power pack was made to withstand “various temperatures, humidity levels, collisions, and vibrations.”

Although Honda hasn't revealed any other details, the images of the EM1 do showcase a hub-mounted e-motor, 12-inch front & 10-inch rear wheels, a large luggage rack at the back, telescopic front forks, LED lighting all around, and a simple LCD instrument console.

The Company Honda will Create the concept of this electric scooter for Global market, Company will also launch for this scooter at Global market, but Honda still now not gone for any electric two-wheelers in India till now, this scooter is not Comes in India but Comming Some years honda will Launch this electric scooters with different looks or models variants, So price is not announced but the company. 

According to the company, this electric scooter goes for approx 1.10 Lakh Indian rupees.
