TVS Motor Company launched TVS Built To Order (BTO) platform, marking its foray into the factory customization and personalization platform. The new business vertical, the TVS BTO platform, will allow customers to customize and personalize their motorcycles when making a purchase, which will be built directly at the factory as per their requirements. The platform was introduced on the sidelines of the launch of the 2021 TVS Apache RR 310 which now retails at Rs 2.59 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

Talking about power specifications, the company has given the same 313cc single-cylinder engine as the current RR 310, which on Track and Sport mode gives you 34 bhp power at 9,700 rpm and 27.3 Nm of torque at 7,700 pm. At the same time, it generates 25.8 bhp power at 7,600 rpm and 25 Nm of torque at 6,700 rpm on Urban and Rain modes. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission only.
To check the performance of this motorcycle with the new changes, we went to the race track and with the suspension adjustment and new riding position, I did not think there was any better way to check the performance of the bike than at the race track. The front forks get 20-step compression and rebound damping, along with 15 mm of pre-load adjustment.
At the same time, the rear mono-shock gets a 10-step preload adjuster with 20-step rebound damping. With both these settings, the suspension gives different feedback while riding on the race track. The all-new TVS Apache RR 310 with the Race Kit offers a flamboyant riding position for the race track.
It also gets new clip-on-handlebars that have been lowered by 8-degrees from earlier and have shifted to the rider's side by 5 degrees.
Will be sold in limited units only
TVS Apache RR 310 is being sold with performance kits in limited numbers only. According to the company, 100 units will be sold every month under the built-to-order program. However, if the demand for this festive season is high, the company will increase it to 150 units from September and October.

New Price of TVS Apache RR 310
TVS Apache RR 310 is priced at Rs 2.60 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price, all the basic upgrades get a revised console and new exhaust. But if you get a dynamic kit installed, then you will have to spend Rs 12,000 differently. At the same time, Rs 5,000 for the Race Kit... Apart from this, you will have to spend an additional Rs 4,500 for Race Replica graphics. Red alloy wheels will cost an additional Rs 1,500.
