Welcome back to our informative blog site knowing steps360. Almost nine years ago, the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 kickstarted the entry-level streetfighter segment in India. This fairly successful story spurred Bajaj to roll out a smaller sibling for the NS200, the NS160 in 2017. Now, to make its Pulsar NS lineup even more accessible, Bajaj has launched its smallest streetfighter offering ever, the Pulsar NS125. Wondering what’s it all about? The Pulsar NS125 might be a new offering by the Indian bikemaker but it doesn’t look like one. The design is exactly the same as the NS200 and while many people will adore this, we think it’s pretty done to the death now. Don’t get us wrong, the signature headlamp, pilot lamp, muscular tank design, and LED taillight do look good but an update to the NS’s design is a long time coming now.

Bajaj Pulsar NS125 engine Specifications
With the arrival of the Pulsar NS125, Bajaj’s Pulsar line-up has grown to 10 models, while the NS range now consists of three models. Unlike the higher-capacity NS models, this one uses not only a smaller engine but a simpler one. Powering this NS is a 124.4cc, air-cooled, two-valve unit that makes 12hp and 11Nm of torque.

The engine capacity and cooling method are identical to the unit on the standard Pulsar 125, but the power and torque figures have slight differences. We believe both bikes share the same engine with different tunes as it would help save costs. While the NS200’s engine shares similarities with the KTM’s 200cc one, that is not the case here. The Pulsar NS125’s engine also comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
Bajaj Pulsar NS125: chassis, suspension, and brakes
The NS125 uses a perimeter frame that uses a telescopic fork and mono-shock for suspension. It also uses an 80/100-17 at the front and a 100/90-17 tire at the rear. Braking, meanwhile, is carried out by a 240mm disc up front and 130mm drum at the rear.

Unlike the NS160, the NS125 can’t be optioned with a disc brake at the rear. The NS125 is also 7kg lighter than the NS160 at 144kg. Other dimensions like the ground clearance, seat height, and wheelbase are 179mm, 805mm, and 1,353mm, respectively.

What hasn’t changed is the styling. The NS125 looks identical to its larger siblings when it comes to design. It sports the same smooth-flowing naked bike lines and most likely shares its body panels with the larger models.

The fuel tank, for instance, appears to be the same unit and the spec sheet reveals that it has an identical capacity of 12 liters. The NS125 also features the same split seat.
What it misses out on though are the updated color schemes that have the frame and wheels finished in matte white.
Pricing and Availability of Bajaj Pulsar NS125
Bajaj has followed the same philosophy that KTM did with the 125 Duke a couple of years ago: bring in the same performance package but with a smaller motor.

In that sense, the Pulsar NS125 has a key advantage that makes it a no-brainer over the more powerful KTM 125 Duke. If we talking about the price of these ns 125 bikes then it's 93,960 rupees Ex.showroom Delhi, and Onroad price is 1 Lakh 17,000 rupees Delhi Onwards.
