Yamaha FZ 25 And FZS 25 Price Drop 2021, Now Rs 19,000 Cheaper

Welcome back to our informative blog knowing steps360 with new two-wheelers info. Japanese automaker Yamaha has announced that a price cut on the Yamaha FZ25 and the Yamaha FZS25 in India. This price revision, as per the company, comes after Yamaha managed to decrease the input costs in the making and selling of these motorcycles. The company, however, has not spoken about how they managed to do this and in which particular department has this happened as almost every other automaker is citing rising input costs and subsequently, increasing the price of their products.

Having recovered from the initial burden of transition costs to BS6, the company is now looking to improve its presence in the segment bypassing the lower input costs down to prospective customers. While the FZS was already the most inexpensive 250cc, the Suzuki Gixxer 250 which has more power and features was too close for comfort. This new pricing makes the FZ series a very hard-to-turn-down offer in the 250cc space.

Yamaha FZ25 Series Bikes Is Now Indias 250cc Most affordable Bike

Compared to the previous price of Rs 1.53 lakh, the standard model now costs Rs 18,800 less, whereas the S variant has received a price cut of Rs 19,300 from the previous Rs 1.58 lakh asking price. Yamaha also says that the price reduction is irrespective of the features and specifications offered on both the bikes

The new pricing gives the FZ 25 the top spot of the most affordable 250cc bikes and the FZS 25 takes the second rank. This also puts the Suzuki Gixxer 250 priced at Rs 1.67 lakh at the third spot and the Bajaj Dominar 250 retailing at Rs 1.70 lakh after that.
