That is, 2.07 crore ration card holders of Tamil Nadu will get 4-4 thousand rupees as financial help from the government.

Due to the epidemic, people are facing difficulty, that is why the state government has taken this important decision. The Tamil Nadu government has said in a press release that this amount will be paid in two installments.

 The government will provide two installments of 2000-2000 rupees to the ration cardholders. The first installment of these will come in the month of May itself. Not only this, according to CM Stalin, the state government will bear the cost of corona treatment in the private hospitals of those who have a state government insurance card.

Stalin also announced a reduction of Rs 3 per liter of milk of the government milk company Aavin from 16 May. Apart from this, he also announced free travel for girls and working women in higher education in government buses (ordinary fare) across the state. They will not have to pay any fare while traveling in the state's ordinary fare buses.
